BRISTOL — A Bristol man has been sentenced to prison for fraud and tax offenses.

United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut Vanessa Roberts Avery announced that John Horvath, 73, of Bristol, was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea in Hartford to 34 months of imprisonment, followed by two years of supervised release, for fraud and tax offenses.
