BRISTOL — Shady Oaks Assisted Living has been named the Jeffrey Butland Small Business Administration Connecticut District Office’s “Family-Owned Business of the Year.”
Tyson Belanger, owner of Shady Oaks at 344 Stevens St., said that the recognition is “wonderful news” for his family, who for four generations have cared for local seniors. His parents built the assisted living facility in 1976.
