BRISTOL — Bristol Public Library’s Dungeons and Dragons group “Scrolls and Shields” aims to provide players with social opportunities, help hone problem-solving skills and tell fun stories.

The group will have their first “Interest Night” on June 12 at p.m. at the library at 5 High St. or players 18 or older. Participants will learn what the game is, the game’s history and how to make characters. They will then run a mock encounter. They will also go over the library’s policies about conduct, one of which is that it will be “politics free.”
