BRISTOL — Michael Nicastro, the newly elected Democratic Town Committee chair, aims to “rebuild and re-connect” with the party base.

The Democratic Town Committee elected a new slate of officers at its most recent meeting, who will serve for the next two years. In addition to Nicastro’s election, the meeting also saw Mark Dickau elected as the new second vice chair. They join returning officers Mike Petosa, who will now be first vice chair, Brittany Barney, who remains as secretary, and Gerald Gardner, who remains as treasurer.
