A 24-year-old Bristol man, who was clocked driving his BMW 120 mph on Route 8, was charged Tuesday morning by state police with reckless driving.
Jean Edgardo Rivera of 22 Barnes St., Bristol, was caught speeding and driving erratically in Naugatuck nearly causing several accidents, according to state police investigating Officer Garreth Ollivierre. In addition to reckless driving, Rivera was charged with failure to comply with pass on right rules, failure to drive in the proper lane and following too closely, a police report stated.
