Lois Sanders

Lois (Wearne) Sanders, 73, of Bristol, beloved wife of Mark Sanders, died on Saturday (April 22, 2023) at Bristol Hospital.
Lois was born on September 8, 1949 in New Britain and was a daughter of the late John and Shirley (Lindgren) Wearne.
She was raised in New Britain attending St. Matthew’s Lutheran Grammar School. She moved to Southington where she attended Southington High School. She settled in Bristol meeting the love of her life in 1984. She worked as a school bus driver and was a caregiver to her parents and aunts.
In addition to her husband of 32 years, Lois is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: John and Annette Sankowski of Texas; three brothers: David, James, and Daniel Wearne; six grandchildren: Ryleigh Leniart, Isabella, Tristan, Jonathan, Chloe, and Samantha Sankowski; and several nieces and nephews.
