APRIL 26 @ 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
On Tuesday, April 26, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., professionals involved in HIV/AIDS prevention and care are invited to attend the annual HIV Educational Forum sponsored by Bristol Mayor’s Task Force on HIV/AIDS/HCV and held on Zoom. This event has an overall theme of HIV infection and COVID-19 and will feature Jeannie McIntosh, APRN, FMP-C, AAHIVS and Joanne Montgomery, LCSW, LADC. In Connecticut, over 10,000 people are currently living with HIV/AIDS. Although newer treatments are increasing life expectancy, there is still much to know about long-term infection, new infections and the impact that other viruses such as COVID-19 will have on those who are infected.
The Forum will be held on Zoom at no charge. Registration must be completed through the link to the Google form below. Zoom links will be sent to the registrant’s email address shortly before the event. For further information about the event, please visit the Task Force Facebook page, City of Bristol Mayor’s Task Force on HIV/AIDS. Continuing education credits are being applied for through the Connecticut Certification Board. For more information, please contact Christina Cipriani, Chair, at Christina.Cipriani@rootcenter.org Phone: 860-589-6433.
Registration must be completed using the online registration form found at this link https://forms.gle/k2xhAW8kWQ7f3Nfk7
