Backpacking Shake Down! Lighten your base weight!

Hey there, hiking enthusiasts! Get ready for an amazing Backpacking Shake Down event to kick off the backpacking and hiking season! Join us and learn from the incredible Pacific Crest Trail thru-hiker Katie Bassett, who’s here to help you lighten your base weight. Just bring your fully-loaded backpack with everything you’d take on a backpacking trip for a shake down, and come with any general backpacking and hiking questions you may have.
And don’t worry if you’re a day hiker or simply curious about backpacking – everyone’s welcome to join, learn, and have fun! This event is BYOB and BYOF, so bring your favorite drinks and snacks.
Good news: The event is free with General Admission! Here’s a reminder of our admission rates:
Adults: $10.00
Seniors and Students with ID: $8.00
Children (age 2-14): $5.00
Little adventurers under 2 get in FREE, and our awesome members enjoy FREE admission too.
